HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN PERILAKU LANSIA DALAM PENGENDALIAN HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS WERDHI AGUNG UTARA KECAMATAN DUMOGA TENGAH

Abstract

Dukungan dari keluarga dan sahabat sangat diperlukan dalam penanganan penderita hipertensi. Dukungan dari keluarga merupakan faktor terpenting dalam membantu individu menyelesaikan masalah. Keluarga menjadi support system dalam kehidupan penderita hipertensi, agar keadaan yang dialami tidak semakin memburuk dan terhindar dari komplikasi akibat hipertensi. Apabila hipertensi yang tidak terkontrol tidak ditangani secara maksimal akan mengakibatkan timbul kembalinya gejala hipertensi yang biasanya disebut kekambuhan hipertensi. Jika penderita hipertensi tidak mencegah dan mengobati penyakit hipertensinya secara maksimal, penderita hipertensi akan beresiko mengalami komplikasi. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah Hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan perilaku lansia dalam pengendalian hipertensi di Puskesmas Werdhi Agung Kecamatan Dumoga Tengah

Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan pendeketan “cross sectional” dimana data yang menyangkut variabel independen dan variabel dependen dikumpulkan dalam waktu yang bersamaan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah lansia yang ada di Puskesmas Werdhi Agung Utara berjumlah 35 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling. Total sampling adalah teknik pengambilan sampel dimana jumlah sampel sama dengan populasi, analisa data yang diguakan adalah analisa univariat dan bivariat dengan uji cross sectional.

Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari sampel yang diteliti ada hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan perilaku lansia dalam pengendalian hipertensi di Puskesmas Werdhi Agung Utara Kecamatan Dumoga Tengah diperoleh nilai ρ = 0.003 < α = 0.05.

Terdapat hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan perilaku lansia dalam pengendalian hipertensi di Puskesmas Werdhi Agung Utara Kecamatan Dumoga Tengah. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bisa menjadi bahan masukan bagi lokasi penelitian dalam hal ini seluruh pihak puskesmas serta masyarakat agar dapat mencegah dari terjadinya komplikasi akibat dari hipertensi.

ABSTRACT 

Support from family and friends is very necessary in treating hypertension sufferers. Support from family is the most important factor in helping individuals solve problems. The family becomes a support system in the lives of hypertension sufferers, so that the situation they experience does not get worse and avoids complications due to hypertension. If uncontrolled hypertension is not treated optimally, it will result in the return of hypertension symptoms which is usually called hypertension recurrence. If hypertensive sufferers do not prevent and treat their hypertension optimally, hypertensive sufferers will be at risk of experiencing complications. The aim of this research is the relationship between family support and elderly

behavior in controlling hypertension at the Werdhi Agung Public Health Center, Dumoga Tengah District.

This type of research is descriptive analytical research with a "cross sectional" approach where data regarding the independent variable and the dependent variable are collected at the same time. The population in this study was the elderly at the Werdhi Agung Utara Community Health Center, totaling 35 students. The sampling technique in this research is total sampling. Total sampling is a sampling technique where the number of samples is the same as the population. The data analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis with cross sectional tests.

The results of this study show that from the sample studied there is a relationship between family support and the behavior of the elderly in controlling hypertension at the Werdhi Agung Utara Community Health Center, Dumoga Tengah District, with a value of ρ = 0.003 < α = 0.05.

There is a relationship between family support and the behavior of elderly people in controlling hypertension at the Werdhi Agung Utara Community Health Center, Dumoga Tengah District. It is hoped that the results of this research can be input for the research location, in this case the entire community health center and the community, so that they can prevent complications resulting from hypertension.
