GAMBARAN EPIDEMIOLOGI MALARIA DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH MARIA WALANDA MARAMIS KABUPATEN MINAHASA UTARA TAHUN 2020-2022
Abstract
Malaria merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh Plasmodium Sp ditularkan oleh nyamuk Anopheles. Salah satu rumah sakit umum Maria Walanda Maramis yang ada di Kabupaten Minahasa Utara merupakan rumah sakit yang memiliki pasien penderita penyakit malaria dari tahun 2020-2022 positif. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah Untuk mengetahui distribusi malaria berdasarkan jumlah kasus, karakteristik pasien malaria berdasarkan umur, jenis kelamin dan untuk mengetahui hasil jenis plasmodium malaria di RSUD Maria Walanda Maramis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan deskriptif retrospektif dengan pengambilan data sekunder berupa catatan rekam medik pasien malaria pada bulan januari 2020 – juni 2022. Populasi sama dengan jumlah sampel didapati sebanyak
48 orang menggunakan teknik non probability sampling berupa consecutive sampling ditentukan dengan memperhatikan kriteria penelitian sampai kurun waktu tertentu sehingga jumlah sampel terpenuhi. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa, di RSUD Maria Walanda Maramis terdapat 48 kasus malaria, terbanyak pada kelompok umur 41-50 tahun (33,3%). Berdasarkan jenis kelamin, penduduk laki-laki lebih banyak positif malaria yaitu 29 orang (60,4%). Berdasarkan jenis Plasmodium yang ditemukan, jenis Plasmodium falcifarum lebih banyak menginfeksi penduduk, yaitu 28 orang (58,3%).

ABSTRACT
Malaria is a disease caused by Plasmodium Sp transmitted by Anopheles mosquitoes. One of the Maria Walanda Maramis public hospitals in North Minahasa Regency is a hospital that had 48 positive patients suffering from malaria from 2020-2022. The aim of this research is to determine the distribution of malaria based on the number of cases, the characteristics of malaria patients based on age, gender and to determine the results of the type of plasmodium malaria at Maria Walanda Maramis District Hospital. This research is an analytical observational study with a retrospective descriptive approach by collecting secondary data in the form of medical records of malaria patients in January 2020 - June 2022. The population was the same as the sample size of 48 people using a non-probability sampling technique in the form of consecutive sampling determined by taking into account the research criteria. until a certain period of time so that the sample size is met. The results of this research show that Maria Walanda Maramis Regional Hospital found 48 cases of malaria, most in the 41-50 year age group (33.3%). Based on gender, more male residents tested positive for malaria, namely 29 people (60.4%). Based on the type of Plasmodium found, the Plasmodium falciparum type infected more people, namely 28 people (58.3%).
