HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT DENGAN KEPATUHAN PENGGUNAAN MASKER SEBAGAI UPAYA PENCEGAHAN COVID-19 DI DESA WINEBETAN KECAMATAN LANGOWAN SELATAN

World Health Organization (WHO) di China Pada tanggal 31 Desember 2019 melaporkan adanya kasus cluster pneumonia dengan penyebab yang belum jelas bertempat di Kota Wuhan, Provinsi Hubei, China. Kasus tersebut semakin berkembang sampai pada tanggal 7 Januari 2020. Pada akhirnya diketahui penyebab dari penyakit ini ialah Coronavirus jenis baru atau novel Coronavirus, yaitu virus jenis baru yang sebelumnya belum pernah terjadi pada manusia (Kemenkes RI, 2020). Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui Hubungan Pengetahuan Masyarakat Dengan Kepatuhan Penggunaan Masker Sebagai Upaya Pencegahan Covid-19 Di DesaWinebetan Kecamatan Langowan Selatan.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif analitik metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional.Populasi dalam penelitan ini yaitu seluruh masyarakat Desa Winabetan dengan jumlah 59 sampel. Data dianalisa menggunakan uji chi-square dengan tingkat kemaknaan α = 0,05.

Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik dengan menggunakan chi square test di peroleh nilai ρ-value = 0,001 lebih kecil dari nilai α = 0,05. Berarti Hoditolak maka ada hubungan Pengetahuan Masyarakat Dengan Kepatuhan Penggunaan Masker Sebagai Upaya Pencegahan Covid-19 di Desa Winebetan Kecamatan Langowan Selatan.

Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengetahuan responden terhadap penggunaan masker sebagai upaya pencegahan covid-19 sebagian besar responden masuk kategori cukup. Kepatuhan responden terhadap penggunaan masker sebagai upaya pencegahan covid-19 sebagian besar responden masuk pada kategori patuh menggunakan masker. Ada hubungan pengetahuan masyarakat dengan kepatuhan penggunaan masker sebagai upaya pencegahan covid-19 di Desa Winabetan Kec. Langowan Selatan.

 ABSTRACT

 World Health Organization (WHO) in China On December 31, 2019 reported a case of cluster pneumonia with unclear causes located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. The case continued to grow until January 7, 2020. In the end, it was discovered that the cause of this disease was a new type of coronavirus or novel coronavirus, which is a new type of virus that had never happened before in humans (Kemenkes RI, 2020). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between public knowledge and compliance with the use of masks as an effort to prevent Covid-19 in Winebetan Village, South Langowan District.

The type of this research is descriptive analytic quantitative method with a cross sectional approach. The population in this research is the entire community of Winabetan Village with a total of 59 samples. The data were analyzed using the chi-square test with a significance level of = 0.05.

Based on the results of statistical tests using the chi square test, the value of p = 0.001 is smaller than the value of = 0.05. It means that Ho is rejected, then there is a relationship between Public Knowledge and Compliance with the Use of Masks as an Effort to Prevent Covid-19 in Winebetan Village, South Langowan District.

The conclusion in this study is that the respondents' knowledge of the use of masks as an effort to prevent covid-19, most of the respondents were in the sufficient category. Respondents' compliance with the use of masks as an effort to prevent COVID-19, most of the respondents fall into the category of obediently using masks. There is a relationship between public knowledge and compliance with the use of masks as an effort to prevent covid-19 in Winabetan Village, Kec. South Langowan.
